How to Double Your Investment in a Recession

Kwasi Osmani receives his Level Two funding after comfortably paying back his initial small business loan.
Kwasi Osmani receives his Level Two funding after comfortably paying back his initial small business loan.

It sounds too good to be true, does it not?  In these difficult economic times it seems that all we can do is sit back and watch while our life savings decreases in value.  Would it not be amazing if during a recession your investments could be doubled?  GBA would like to help you double your investment into our work this month – and men like Kwasi Osmani hope you will take part.

Kwasi owns and manages a small cocoa farm in central Ghana and has taken part in GBA’s sponsored micro-finance program.  Thanks in part to Kwasi’s diligent loan repayments over the life of his initial loan, Kwasi qualified for an even larger Level Two loan of several hundred dollars.

With these new funds, Kwasi has been able to purchase previously unaffordable fertilizer and pesticides in order to keep his crops healthy, thus increasing yield.  In addition, Kwasi has added corn and cassava production to his farm thanks to his small business loan. As Kwasi’s business prospers, and as he is faithful in his loan repayments, Kwasi has dreams of an even larger Level Three loan.  This is helping him reach a degree of prosperity he and his family could only have dreamed of just one short year ago.

Your Financial Investments Multiplied….

But this month, as Kwasi’s business prospers, GBA struggles to meet our international commitments.  At this time, as it is for many charitable organizations, funding is short for almost all of our organization’s current programs.  Several projects, like the groundbreaking micro-lending institution GBA hopes to introduce this fall in Bahr el Ghazal, Sudan, are in jeopardy of not starting this year.

Thanks to a few generous GBA donors, we are doing all we can, with your help, to see that men like Kwasi Osmani receive that Level Three business loan.

During the month of June, through a matching gift challenge, every gift made to GBA over and above a donor’s normal monthly giving will be doubled!  This means that if you are a regular GBA donor, your additional gift above what you usually give on a monthly basis will be doubled!  An extra $50 this month becomes $100!  An extra $1,000 becomes $2,000!

If you are not a regular donor, or have been waiting to give to GBA for the first time, 100% of any gift you make to the organization this month will be doubled!  There may never be a better time to invest in the work of Global Business Assist.  Not only will your gift in June help our organization empower the world’s poor to help themselves, but your generosity has the chance of having a multiplied impact!

For those who might be inspired to provide GBA with a large donation this month, please contact me personally if you are concerned that the amount of your gift might not be matched.

We will find a way to double your investment if your gift exceeds our expectations!

I am immensely grateful for the extra effort you are making this month by investing your personal resources into this work of compassion.
