Announcing GBA’s 2030 District Mentoring Program

January is National Mentoring Month! Mentoring focuses on how stakeholders can work collaboratively to uplift, develop and share resources amongst each other in a way that is productive and engaging.
To celebrate National Mentoring Month, GBA is unveiling a new opportunity for our Pittsburgh and Erie 2030 partners.
As we are getting closer to big carbon reduction milestones in the building sector, we believe that it is becoming increasingly important to support our partners and help them plan for the future. Our ultimate goal for this program is to marry high performing property partners with those who could use additional assistance and resources. Mentors and mentees will work together to create future improvement plans based on the types and ages of systems in the mentee’s building, as well as any challenges they have faced.
If you are a 2030 District property partner in Erie or Pittsburgh, you can participate in this program as either a mentor (by volunteering to assist another partner) or mentee (by asking to be paired with a mentor). If you are a property owner or facility manager who has been interested in the 2030 program, but you are not sure where to start, you could also be paired with a mentor when you sign up to join the program.
